Vente aux encheres - art auction

Sunday 9th October, an art auction was held in the park at Kistinic to raise money for the cerfs-volants de Goulven, a charity which helps fund medical intervention to children in need in Mali, Africa http://www.cerfsvolantsgoulven.fr/  The afternoon was a huge success and 4200 Euros were raised, which will fund 2 operations for 2 children. Every penny raised goes directly to fund the operations.

The newly renovated gatehouse is finished.

The gatehouse at Kistinic, Quimper has been fully renovated and we are really pleased with the result. The layout has been changed, so now there is a new beautiful master bedroom on the top floor. The first floor has a new bathroom and shower room, and the kitchen has been enlarged to make a lovely kitchen / dining room. The living room has a new woodburning stove and the whole house has been completely decorated and refurbished.  The gatehouse now sleeps 6 persons in complete comfort, with unlimited access to the stunning gardens and swimming pool of Kistinic. Its location just a few minutes from the centre of Quimper, and 20 minutes from the nearby beautiful beaches of Benodet and Sainte Marine make for the ideal location in this wonderful part of Brittany.
